Welcome. Are you the type of person that loves music but doesn’t have time to spend hours researching a new sound? Did you grow up listening to the classics and want to know where their spirit lives today?

At Unsung Presents, I do the digging for you to expose artists you may have heard about, but never heard. You are eased into the unfamiliar with Gateway songs, and if you like what you hear, you can always continue onto other songs and other bands in the same vein. I ask questions like “Why does an industrial working class city like Manchester give us the Smiths, the Stone Roses and Oasis, and a dozen other metropolis’ produce nothing comparable?” (Here’s looking at you, Edmonton)  and I make arguments like “Rod Stewart was actually good….before Do You Think I’m Sexy and disco hotpants”  The Unsung touts those that need a voice –  the forgotten, the fledgling, the crystal creeks flowing just left of mainstream. This is not hip or happening. This is the Unsung – the underrated and under the radar music for the masses. Explore and enjoy.
